CANDLEMASS SERVICE
SUNDAY 1st FEBRUARY 10.30am All Saints, Settrington
You are very welcome to join us for our Candlemass Service which marks
the traditional end of the Christmas season in the Church.
It celebrates the Presentation of Christ at the Temple as we begin
our preparations for Lent and the forthcoming Easter Season.
Refreshment will be served afterwards.
BLANKETS FOR UKRAINE APPEAL
The Malton, Norton and District Lions are collecting good, clean blankets for the people of Ukraine who are suffering in the winter weather without heating.
They will be sent to the Lions in Ukraine so that they are sent where they are needed.
The blankets can be left with the Malton Free Fridge or at the Parish Office of St Leonard and St Mary’s Catholic Church.
The deadline to receive blankets is mid-March.
EMAIL UPDATE SERVICE
We offer a weekly email service which provides a copy of the forthcoming week's pewsheet and any other relevant news. There is also the option to receive "emergency" emails should we have to cancel an event at short notice for example. This also gives updates during periods of heavy snow.
In the event of services being changed or cancelled due to weather, an update will also be added to the front page of this website at 8am.
